I have read through the threads about the ocv fault and still confused as to the fault with my own car, starting from cold I let it warm up the temp gauge goes up one notch, driving it goes to second notch and I can floor it and get second and third to rev to 8000 rpm, soon as the temp hits half way then when I try it won’t go past 7000 rpm and just bounces like on a limiter and puts the ecu light on, I have cleaned the filter and replaced the ocv , any ideas ? Would like to get it to run properly as it never has since I bought it 2 months ago !!

Sounds like the lift bolts need replacing Toyota p/n 90105-06293. Make sure you get the part that broke off so new bolt seats correctly, also you need 2 bolts about $8.00. YouTube has many videos on how to replace them.
