I've contacted Vis, and they have agreed to make a Carbon Fiber hood for the 4th generation (1986 - 1989) celica if I can find at least 20 people interested. The cost would be $400 + shipping. Anyone interested that has the money or can get the money, e-mail me your info and you will be added to the list. This will be a oem fit carbon fiber hood, so it will be the same size and fit perfectly without any modification. these hoods also have a uv protection coating, so the finish will last.

Probably if you could find 20 people to buy...
Just an update, I have 7 people interested already, 13 to go...
The hood now looks like it will be the alltrac hood, but theres a chance it may have the st185 carlos santos rc ralley vents.

I'm interested but is there any way to check one out before I drop my cash?

If it is well made with the OEM style CS rally vent with the flat black grill then I'll probably go for it. Also, for my purposes, it needs to be paintable.

carbon fiber is paintable, ubt y not just mold it in to your hood than? we have 21 buyers already, so you would be getting a hood that is one of 22, so y paint it? kind of dosent show what it is than, imo at least, wont look as rare.

I'm interested in the carbon fiber because of the weight reduction (all tracs weigh too much).

We all have different ways of expressing ourselves through our rides. We all have our own individual styles and I've always been an "ultra down-low" person.

I have nothing against the look of carbon fiber it's just that from a personal standpoint, I prefer a "stealth" OEM look. cool

Thanks for replying.

wanna be all trac rofl grin want a 185 engine now? wink not really a big fan of Carbon Fiber, but the weight reduction, specially on an all trac will be nice for you guys. the design will also give it a more agressive look, which especially the 165's need since they don't have their own stock hood. lemme see it when it's on thumbsup
