Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Bay Area body shop and kits

Hey everyone,

I'm brand new to this forum and I just bought my 2000 GTS 6 speed. I wanted to get an Veilside/Invader kit. I've seen them on EBay and on various sites for around 300. Instead of getting one online I would prefer getting it from a local shop and have them paint and install it. If not the install (I can try to do it myself), then at least the kit and paint to match my silver celica. Can anyone out there help me? I'm also looking for a car alarm, auto entry etc.

Ebay kits cost $300 for a reason. they dont fit. you'll spend more money trying to fix it, then pay for the paint job.

nah! those kits you see on ebay are imitate versions. They're not from VeilSide. That's why they're cheap. Cause you won't get the real ones for under $1,500

Welcome. I am also from the Bay. Those kits are replicas so fitment will be an issue. I suggest you check out Craigslist and type Celica. I know there was this person selling out his inventory on replicas for about $450 or something.

How is the fitment of ebay ww front lips?

nrg performance is a shop near san jose. they sell kits and install them. if you need their number pm me.

How much usually for them to install the front lip, side skirts, and rear lip? Everything is already painted, just need a professional install.
