Hello everyone!
I thought you might like to see the bestest car wot I ever did own!! lol
I bought it around 5 years ago from someone that had obviously taken a lot of time with the engine and interior. Yes there were areas where I could see flaws but with aound 100k on the clock and the crappy Toyota alloys I still got a bargain.
I have had the alloys redone and the scoop on the bonnet resprayed as the clear coat was peeling off. I also had the front and rear bumpers sprayed but I'm not even remotely happy with the standard of the work or the green polish they used to cover up their mistakes. It's going to take some effort to get them to the standard I wanted 6 months ago.
I need to sort out some road rash and one or two bigger chips and am thinking Dr Colorchip to sort that out, what do you think?
The climate control needs sorting too but once these minor things are sorted I'll be even happier with my car!
All in all, it's the best car I have ever owned. Not a moment of trouble with it!! Oh, and it goes like the proverbial brown stuff off of a shovel!!
Oh, while you're here...does anyone know how, or even if, the rubber seals around the car can be replaced and if it's in the realm of the diy'er??!!
