Hey guys!

Much help needed here!

One day getting fuel, the station pump stopped and not even a L of fuel was pumped, after some pump stop pump stop action, I went to start my engine and PUFF!, something under the hood sounded.

Seems to be that something on the EVAP system can't flow and made an emision lines to pop out of the EVAP VSV. I've seen the diagrams to start working on it but looking at my gas tank from the fuel inlet pipe, I found a white translucen like tube leading I don't know where, what is it? where should it go?

Have ran the car no issues but still a big hazzard having that tube there.

Any ideas or pointers?

You should scan the engine for diagnostic codes. Walmart and Home depot sell basic engine scanners for $20.

Need to know what CEL codes showed up to trouble shoot.

If car has high mileage ( 200K and above) and fuel contaminated, there is a chance the Charcoal canister on top of the gas tank is full or corrupted and cannot EVAP gas fumes to the throttle body. Enigne would show CEL coded P0400, 0401 0402 0403 ect.

If it shows those codes then you need to replace the Charcoal Canister. Dealers sell new one for $400- 500, but you can buy an used one for about $100 in ebay. It's unlikely that the solenoids are bad. Just replace the canister with all the switches and solenoids that come with it.
