Welcome to the forums

Have you brought it to a general mechanic yet? What did the mechanic say who reviewed the vehicle before receiving it?

This is probably the air vapor hose (also known as a "pressure tube") which has popped out from behind your fuel inlet. Do not plug or fold/pinch it over.

Relating to the EVAP system, do you have a CEL displaying on your dashboard? If not, have you plugged in an OBDII reader and checked for any fault codes, in the event that your CEL was disabled or covered over.
