Hello!
Just bought a Celica GT 2001 smile
Engine light came on and got diagnosis code P0120. Checked the voltage input and output and everything was correct. On the diagnosis it said 11% when i gave no throttle and 71% when full, which is correct after what I read in the manual. I taped the connector to be sure its not loose. I have still not tested it since I need to drive a while before it comes on.

Also when I put it in reverse I have to push it in fast, else it will grind. Im thinking this might be because of the RPM. On idle its at 1500 rpm. Is that correct? Does anyone else had the same problems? Thank you so much for answer!

So a little update. The engine light came back. I got my friend to look at the diagnostic tool while driving and some times the throttle position dropped to 0%. I have now ordered a new one and we will see if that will fix it!

So I fixed the problem. It was the TPS sensor. Now the idle is around 7-800 and it doesnt jerk when driving slow speeds. The reverse grinding seem to be fine too. I always put it in first gear then reverse either way so no problem there. Asked the official Toyota dealer at my place and they asked for 180$ for a sensor. A little to much so i bought a cheap one from eBay that works perfectly. Here is the link if anyone has the same problem smile
