Is it possible to replace the center piece of the stock steering wheel with something like a TRD center piece? Or if I purchased a new steering wheel what kind of adapter would I need to install it?

What many people have done is order an OIL cap from eBay that has the logo they want. Its usually a sticker :/ Then they transfer that logo sticker from the oil cap to their steering wheel.

You can also find the emblem sticker on its own - also on eBay.

i see that you are in the US. For quicker shipping and possibly at a lower cost, you may want to search for a domestic seller, rather than an international source.
