So, as it gets colder in my part of the country, sometimes when I go out and it's really really cold, the car just idles at about 400 rpm, almost dying. Then, if I start on down the road, or even just let it sit to warm up, I'll get a CEL. Any ideas why?

Unfortunately, I don't have a code reader, so I don't know which codes pop up. When my car is back on the road, if it happens again, I'll get it read

Buy a cheap OBDII scanner, only $20 in Walmart.

It will let you know any problems with the car, save you lots of money and headache.
