Hi so about 2 hours ago I was driving my GTS and then when I stepped on the gas I heard a very bad knocking noise, and now it still happens but it's really bad whenever I give it gas, I threw a code for cylinder 1 misfire a few days ago and now this is happening, could it be the misfire or is my motor blown?

Could be bad plug, bad ignition coil or cable, could be a blown gasket.

Remove the spark plug, take some pictures of the electrodes for examination.

May be do a compression check of all cylinders.

Sorry for the late reply, so we took off the oil pan and found out it was the rod bering on cylinder 2 we replaced it and it's still knocking, we're not too sure we think it could be the crankshaft at this point, but before I go and pull this engine does anyone have any ideas on what it could be before I pull the whole thing? Also merry Christmas
