Quick rundown was in a wreck last year in my 00 GTS 6 speed. The wreck bent my passenger lower control arm, tie rods were gone my Passenger CV axle snapped, rack and pinion needed to be replaced my passenger wheel bearing and master cylinder went bad. Now all this being replaced some parts multiple times I moved 700 miles from Louisiana to Tennessee and noticed that the shop I had my car in after the wreck had stripped my lower arm bolt hole going through the front of the lower control arm(Highlighted in yellow in the 1st picture) that goes into the cross member frame. So now that 13mm long bolt slides all the way to the washer and head without fastening. Now I don't have a lot of money and was researching cheap alternatives. is it safe to (cut or grind a small opening in the cross member frame shown in the 2nd picture) to fit a nut and wrench in the spot under the indicated marking in picture on the cross member frame to fasten the lower arm blot back? Or do I need a new cross member frame?
