Hi I’m wanting to get Coilovers for my 2001 Toyota celica which I believe is the gts model in the US (I’m in australia) - there’s not many options here as far as suspension.

Anyway I have my eyes on a set of k sport Coilovers the site clearly says for macpherson struts only, as I’m aware the front struts are McPherson but the rear is a double wishbone setup, might be a stupid question but will these Coilovers fit my car? I’ve attached a image of them, thanks in advanced.

That Ksport coil over looks kind of short, AUD$1,600 is way too expensive for what you need. You are not sure if they will even fit. Most coil overs are made in China with bad struts, likely crapped out after 20K miles.

The best and most reliable strut brand is KYB made in Japan. Buy the KYB AGX adjustable struts with life-time warranty and have a mechanic assemble them into the old springs. Those spring will never break and you are sure the car will be at factory height with adjustable struts damping from soft to hard. KYB AGX struts are about $100 a piece. KYB EXCEL G struts are not adjustable and are cheaper about $80.

Those don't look much better than the $250 adjustable struts I bought for mine, which I immediately removed because they wouldn't stay properly adjusted. When they came out of adjustment, they would rotate and put the brake line against the wheel. Not good. Don't mess with anything adjustable unless you are experienced or know what you are doing.
