My BCU went bad around two weeks ago and I've just received a replacement. I've looked around and learned that there was a way to take out the old BCU and replace it without taking the whole interior apart. Anyone have any tips or a video to guide me? Appreciate it.

Take out the 2 knee panels on both the driver and passenger side.

The BCU is bolted to the vertical posts with a couple bolts. You should be able to remove it.

There are a couple big connectors hooked up to it that power all sorts of components like head and tail lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, windows and door lock, radio ect. Remove the battery negative terminal before you remove or install those connectors so you don't risk blowing any components in the car..
