Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance Stalling out after shifting into neutral at high RPMs

Hi.
I drive a 2000 Celica GT (1ZZ-FE 141Hp)
I wanted to test the cars VVTI system and i hit redline on 3rd gear.
Right after that I shifted into neutral and wanted to just cruise in neutral to my destination, but the car stalled out, while still going 100+km/h
The car then started back normally after I turned the key.
Is this normal when shifting to neutral at high RPMs?
