I just rebuilt a 1zzfe for my celica and it’s knocking. I did everything to spec with STD sized parts but it sounds like I have a rod knock. All of my con rods say 2 on them and while I was researching I found out there’s different “mark” sized bearings. So is there not a true STD sized bearings and do I need to buy mark 2 bearings for my mark 2 con rods (yes it sounds very obvious but I just want to have other peoples experience added to it). Lastly is it the same way for my mains to or is there just STD for it?

I've rebuilt my 1zz in February and noticed that all the rod bearing in mine were shot. (The car wasn't knocking, but the bearings were worn very badly)
I ordered a pack of STD bearings for the conrods and they fitted nicely.
Since then I've driven about 1000 kilometers and had no problem or knocking at all.
