Please don't post anything till all my pictures are up (last one is a side by side)
1. Gather your Tools.
4 new spark plugs (SK16 for GT, SK20 for GTS) 10 mm socket, 10" extension rod and 16mm (5/8") spark plug socket.

Remove the ignition coils. (4 bolts 10 mm, and 4 harnesses)

Slide the 10" extension and 16mm (5/8") spark plug socket into the hole, remove the old spark plug.
Insert new spark plug, torque to 13 ft lbs.
Replace coil, 4 bolts and harnesses.

here is the old plug (63K on a GTS) versus a new plug. Little carbon? The car starts up better, the valve chatter problem I was having is gone, and it revs like a motha now. Best $60 I ever spent!!

awesome - around when would you recommend swapping them (how many miles)? It's easy enough (if you have the tools) to take one out an inspect it. If it looks carbon-crusted, clean it, or replace it. It takes a lot to clean them and regap them, better to buy pre-gapped new ones

sweet, did you just buy toyota plugs or some sort of Performance. I see that your old ones were Denso, does toyota use denso?

Also, it's recommended that you put some antiseize on your plugs before you install them to keep them from getting stuck in their sockets from the heat. You can get antiseize from autozone or any auto shop.

toyota's electronic components and such are all made from DENZO-if you notice, look in your engine bay-it's on everything-even on your gauge cluster-it's hidden by the cover.

I have seen warnings about using anti seize on spark plugs. From what I have read and watched DO NOT use anti seize on spark plugs.
