I'm trying to install cruise control on my 01 GT that didnt come with cruise. Im curious - im supposed to buy all of the componenets from an 00 GTS cruise. Will the throttle cables from the GTS work with my GT or is the distance different?
Also - im having difficulty locating my wiring harness for the cruise. Im starting to wonder if maybe it doesnt have a harness for the cruise. The only thing that makes me disbelieve that, is that Toyota is notorious for leaving harnesses open for optional components so they can be added later. Fog lights are that way for example. Thanks

Yeah but I dont live in the city right now. I live 2 hours away from any town bigger than 25,000. Its all 2 lane highway, and it gets old using your foot. This is cruise control country!
HOw much do you want to sell yours for?

Thats weird that you do not have cruise control. If i were you i wouldn't worry about it. It will cost a lot of money for the system itself and the install will will cost a lot also.

Im installing myself. Its really not that difficult. I had to replace the throttle cables once on my old Celica so im pretty familiar with how everything works. I got a guy with a wrecked 00 GTS in Milwaukee who wants to sell me his CC shipped for $145. Not bad
