i saw them a while back i contacted the guy that sells them a NC.org but he said he doesn't make them anymore. so does anyone know how to make em materials to use/buy?? where to buy them?? and if anyone can do instructions for it?? i really want these for use in the near future! thanks
They got something like that at pepboys, it has 4 switches and fits perfect in our ashtrays
yeah i went to a couple of pepboys and they didnt even know what the hell iam talking bout they showed me a couple of different ones but not like the one on the picture they prolly thought i was crazy or something
wouldnt those be in the way with a stick shift..i kno if i plug my car charger in its in the way..seems like you would hit the switches in 1st and 3rd gears..
The person youre referring to in NC.org is Calsoldier. He doesnt make the original switches that light up, which are the ones I purchased, but he still sell ashtray switches but instead of him using light up switches, he uses toggle switches. If you want the switches that light up, all you need to do is purchase the ashtray plates from him for $15 unpainted and purchase the switches from ebay.com. To attach the switches, all you do is use HOT GLUE.
In regard to your other question, the ashtray door still closes. Its a perfect fit. It should not interrupt with anything. Oh by the way, he is a really cool guy. I totally recommend you purchase from him|

My Ashtray Switches
yeah he emailed me and said right now he doesnt have the time to make them(busy w/ school/work?)so i was thinking if anyone else knows how to make em?as stated ealier materials/where to buy?
If anyone wants me to I will go out and buy the switch control in my pic and ship it to them, just pay me list price plus shipping and its yours, I won't charge ya anything extra, I'm not sure how much it was but it's not expensive at all. One more note: it comes with a blue, green, red, and yellow switch, but i chose to swap mine out for all blue switches, and yes the ashtray door still closes and the shifter does not get in the way, at least for me, let me know if anyone is interested, I'll go check out the price tomorrow and post it here
