Finally, just installed my Hotshot Headers and jesus! it is a bitch installing it! freakin heatshields are pain in the ass, its hard for me coz i only jack the car up and crawl under the car about 100x , you can pretty much install the headers yourself but best if you have a hydrolic lift. you gotta have someone to help you out during install, thanks to Ryan for the help. tip during installation is, you gotta have the right tools, make sure you have a 9 point 12 inch deep socket to take out the stock headers, patience is always the key to good installation, you will be workin from the top and bottom. by the way, no need to take out the valve cover, you will have to cut a bracket so you can grab it from the top, there is no way you can take it out from the bottom. the gain? yes i can feel it, better acceleration and this DIY installation saved me 80 bucks! if theres any questions, feel free to ask

Good Deal JD. I don't know why everyone is cutting the bracket, I didn't. Oh yea, those heat shields are a pain. I think it took longer for me to get the heat shields off than anything else. Anyways, Good job man.

cool man! I read somewhere that someone actually got it out of the bottom though??? oh well! the only way you will be able to take them out of the bottom is if you lower the engine cradle. i wish i had my cam when i did my sway bars. when you lower the cradle there is a ton of room

nice. Just a question. Is that extra space at the bottom normal? were the header hooks up it looks like an inch gap were you would expect to see the two ends connected with a gasket.

I've actually taken out the heat shield and got to my headers from the top of the car before, instead of jacking it up. Just make sure ur engine is cold though or your gonna get nice and crispy from the top of the engine and burn your arms to hell through the few inches in the back they give you to reach down. Thats just me though, i felt like screwing with the car and taking it apart one day,got pretty damn far too. Thats my free time well spent. As for an installation guide, just find a way to take out all the bolts and put them back on with the other header in there and thats pretty much it.
