after I am done whole project cost me $5700. Right now I still need boost controller + bigger fuel pump + regulator + return fuel line. After all this installed I will run 230 HP to the wheel so it translate to over 250 to the crank at 10p.s.i.
Shop called Creative Audio and Performance. They did the work on my car. Ivan (red dragon celica featured in front page of magazine) had his turbo done there before.
Ivan is not selling his car anymore, he got into racing his car now. Thanks to all for the complements hopefully rest of my mods will be done (within 6 month time I am tapped so can not upgrade turbo equipment just yet)
So how is ur turbo'd celica running? i want to turbo my car but i cant find anyone who does that up here. oh and and by the way how is the maintanence like after you got ur turbo. man you got me jealous! can you tell me who made that supercharger? i heard the blitz supercharger isnt available, is that true?

My turbo is running great, if you are interested a shop in So Cal sells turbo kits online. www.turbo-performance.com [turbo-performance.com] you can have them send it to a shop and have the shop install them for ya. Its not same turbo as mine but theirs should work great too. Turbo maintainance is expensive, here is whats involved: Synthetic motor oil only, use 20W50 only, change every 1500 miles. The supercharger pics is Blitz supercharger and it is not available yet, thats their project car.
hey heres another question, what did you have to replace on your stock engine? can you tell me the internals so i can get a feel of what i'll need to replace. thanx... and man those pixes of ur car making me really want the turbo instead of the blitz supercharger.
I have a GT so do not really have to replace anything other than the injectors, if you have GTS and want to run above 5p.s.i. you have to change to low compression piston and rods etc etc. Ofcourse have to add S-AFC or some kind of fuel management computer, and a fuel system (return fuel line + bigger fuel pump + regulator)
Thanx mike...i gotta GT also...i thought there was a lot of internals that needed to be changed...but thanx for the info...i'm planning to turbo my car december.

If you are planning to turbo at around 5p.s.i. you do not really need anything other than the kit. If you want to boost higher you will need a boost controller, that controller basically lies to the wastgate to boost more. If you want to go above 12p.s.i. you do have to change quite abit of internals, I do not recommand going that high.
all i have to say is you are my idol lol...i plan on getting a turbo for my gt but i wanna wait until my warranty is gone so i dont have to worry about voiding it...after you get it all fine tuned could you please get back to me on the 1/4 mile time...very very nice glad to finally see a turbo celica

hahaha thanks. Well my car is going to be tuned on 29th and then I will think about installing boost controller to boost at 8psi for starter. Will probably boost 10psi as daily driver. Neways this has been the most expensive thing I have done ever to my car, and its making me invest more into going quicker. I may go for stage 3 turbo (do all internal) and boost somewhere around 20psi.
