anybody know the details on the INTAKE AIR TEMP. SENSOR modification(use of resistors) on the 2000+ celica. where the sensor is? and what resistor to use?

I have no idea what you're talking about but there is a cable that you can hook up your car and laptop to and it will tell you everything you need to know. When your laptop is hooked up, you can tell the temperature of the incoming air and little things like that, if Isaac saw this post he'll know what I'm talking about.
