I've just purchased a 2003 Celica and i need an opinion on which exhaust and intake to get. With so many brands names out there, its hard to choose because I only want the best. I was thinking about getting the TRD exhuast with the Injen intake but i've heard that veilside, greddy, and apexi was also great. I don't care about the sound. I got the need for speed!
I'm new to this so can you help me out?
Oh yeah, one mre thing, Which high performance brand name is popular in Japan?

If you want the BEST. Get the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion Cat-Back Exhaust. And for CAI get either AEM or Injen. I got AEM and it's the shit...

ingen CAI is good as for exhaust if all you want is speed ... the veilside is it ... only 8 pounds you'll save like 20 pounds over stock. Although I have to agree with Stun - the TSRM is the best all-around. Good power, Great sound, average weight.

The TRD gives the best numbers for horsepower and torque. The Tanabe SRM is right behind it (the difference is too small to notice it). I have a TRD and I like the sound, but I've been told the TSRM sounds better.
Do a search, there's a lot of posts about this.

excellent it's a nice mellow and deep bass, until you step on it..then it's a nice and loud bass...really sweet, not ricey, kinda mean sounding. if i get around to it this weekend i'll try to make some sounds clips unless someone else already has them. BTW I got rid of my TRD for the TSRM...so much better now. [ 02-06-2003, 11:26 AM: Message edited by: RicePowered ]

I have the AEM CAI, I love it, awesome power gains, and definitely go with the TSRM exhaust. Power wise, it is between .1 and .2hp less than the TRD, but sounds soooooooo much better. Very deep roar, mean...grrrrrr. Good luck with your decision. Peace.
