Thougt I 'd try polishing my brake calipers instead of painting them. Looks alright but a pain in the ass to do . Just remember to wear a face mask if you try this.

someone brought up that by polishing the brake caliper like this you will affect the cooling caacity of the caliper. It is supposed to have those grooves for cooling purposes.

more surface area means means faster cooling by heat dissipation.

There's still plenty of surface area for cooling, if that was a problem. I only polshed the face of the calipers the rest remains the same. It's no different then painting the calipers. The paint would fill the grooves anyways. Thanks guys for the comments

That looks awesome. I just painted mine silver this weekend...I wanted to polish them, but painting them seemed like it would be a lot easier. thumbsup

Look's cool.
but I foresee "RUST" being an issue in the future calipers are cast iron and are painted for a reason, to seal them.
