"The headers produced 176.3 hp to the wheels with 122.8 ft./lbs of torque. This was before we made the mid-pipe. We will be selling the headers with the mid-pipe as a set by the end of December. The price and new HP figures will be announced shortly." http://www.gtfabrications.com/gtf/celicaheader/index.htm

are those dyno results on a stock car with just the header replaced? and i would assume that is on a gts model because they normally rate just a little above 160 horses at the wheels (a.k.a. true horsepower, not the 180 it comes factory rated with) if so, thats a nice 13 horsepower gain (to 173 horses at the wheels)...definately something to look into.

also, they said "that is before we placed the mid pipe" or something..so maybe that means that they had a straight pipe from the headers, no cat...

i think it looks pretty good... look how cleanly they made it. it may not look to have the best bends, but then agian, the space in our engine bay is so limited in the rear.

a kid told me that celicas handle like crap... i laughed

i think its both... because if you read the post's on nc.org, the only possible way to get the header in is to remove the wheel/axle to get it up in there.
