For all ya'll that installed dynamat in your trunk, how did you apply it to the trunk lid. i took the plastic cover off but i can't figure out how to apply the dynamat because there are so many holes and wires. what did you do?

What I did is just apply the dynamat as if the holes weren't there. As you are applying it though mark the holes with a permanent marker cause you wont be able to see them when it's on. If you press the dynamat on good enough you should be able to see the holes. Use your utility knife and cut an X in the hole then push the panel back on. It's gonna be kinda tight because of the dynamat, but that's good because you know for certain that that piece isn't gonna rattle either.

when i dynamated my whole trunk and car. i used a paint roller. I would goto a hobby shop or somthin' and get a 1/2inch roller and a 1 in roller. it will make the job so muhc easier. also like said above, just use a exacto knife and start cutting. Putt the pieces together. like a big puzzle. not much more you can do. just make sure to cut and mark for holes where the screws go. good luck
