HIDs definately..MTECs are just imitation "HID" bulbs. the bulbs are coated blue to give a "HID" look, but in actuality it just looks ricey IMO. also visibility will suck, especially at night in the rain. i say invest in the HIDs and you'll be much happier with looks/visibility..also if you decide to, get the 4100K
I did some research the prices are for both highs and lows from Xenondepot.com The 4100k bulbs are 800 and the 6000k bulbs (which are illegal) cost 1039. MTECs cost 90 for highs, low, and fogs. So you make the decision.

what??? 4100k are $800 dollars? and 6000k's are $1,039???
BTW most stock hids are 4200k I believe..and buying aftermarket HID's are all illegal now, not specific ones.

I believe that some are still legal. How much did you pay for your HIDs?
IM sorry but there is no way in hell anyone should spend over $1000 dollars for HID's unless you are getting them from a special shop that custom makes them for your car
I'm sure MTECs will do you fine for what you are looking for right now. Experiment a bit. Only thing that may be bad is how they are painted blue...it does look a little 'ricey'
