Any issues removing all the Covering plastic around the front and sides of the Engine compartment? they there for any real reason?

the left one has the clip to keep the thing that holds the hood up from moving around (lol, bad explanation of that pole thing) but i took off the others

Someone said that they're there for heat protection against the hood.

The engine plastics are there to protect your bone "stock" hood from heat discoloration and to prevent violent change in engine block temperature during the winter (which can harm the engine block after the engine is turned off).
