Alright, I know this is everyones favorite subject to debate, so lets begin. I have made major air flow mods to my Celica and feel its time to invest in an S-AFC. I have been eyeballin the Apex-i and was wanting feedback from people who have experience with this or other brands. People?
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much damn space! 2000 Black GTS AEM CAI HKS Hi-Power Cat-back AEM Strut Tower Brace AEM Tru-Power Pulley TRD Quick Shift Kit Momo Gear Knob Euro Clear Side Markers Carbon Fiber Taillights Carbon Fiber Dash Insert Konig Absolute Opal 18s Nitto NT 555 225/35ZR-18s TRD Performance Springs Coming soon... It is good for GTS or turboed cars, it will give you alittle bit of increase with above 2 types of cars. What sucks is our ECU has an automatic adjustment on the fuel/air curve it will trying to adjust to some setting it likes, thus the perfectly tuned S-AFC setting to your liking is not as good anymore. 1 recommandation... DON'T GET OTHERS NUMBERS!!! Reason is every car is different, though numbers will work it will not work as well. Get it tuned. Goto www.newcelica.org [newcelica.org] in the So Cal section there is a shop that has dyno days once in awhile, get it tuned on that day
That'd be cool, but So Cal is a hell of a drive from Charlotte NC!

hahaha sorry... But yeah you need to tune it to your car, if you have any performance mod you might want to retune it Get your performance mods in the car first before getting this thing
charlotte til the end i think we should have some kind of meet for east coast guys, but thats another topic. This summer, when i start working again, im going to do a nice combo of AMSS headers, downpipe, TRD kazuma and AEM cai w/ S-AFC.
I agree about the east coast meetings. I live in Goldsboro NC, and I would absolutely love it if NC and SC and VA could have a celica meet like all you guys in SO CAL. We really need to do a meet with these states...especially NC and SC since I live in the Carolina's.

Well I may be switching over to a Apexi PowerFC soon which means I have an S-AFC, but thats still in the air nothing definate yet. I got the turbo ofcouse relocated the intake to where CAI usually is, go from turbo manifold to custom downpipe, to custom straight pipe, to custom exhaust setup... I believe this is why my 7.1psi gives me 211.6HP to the wheels on a GT, or else I should be looking at around 200HP to the wheels.
why dont you do this...hit up one of the freakin' many NASCAR (hate it) shops in our area...maybe for a fee they will let you do it there...wait till off season...i hear them testing there cars on the dyno every day...mooresville is not a long drive from charlotte...i do it every day from belmont to there...just a thought...i know there is a new race team coming to town...maybe i can get the hook-up for you...i just designed thier decal and might be doing thier car and trucks if they decide to have a car...they build motors right now...anyways...hit me up in a few days...just pm me on here...peace
Where are the shops in Mooresville? I have considered the Nascar (pukes) shops to help, but I dont want to deal with all the redneck fuggers. However, I do need someone with experience trying to get the A/F ratio set correctly. You people that want to get together for a Carolina's Celica meet should do so one weekend soon at the Mooresville drag strip. Lets see who has the fastest Celica in NC!
