Well I'm sitting waiting to pick my little sis up from middle school and someone knocks on my window. It was a couple of 12 year old boys. They look around inside my car saying "your car is cool dude". So I give a nice smile and thank them. Still nice to know my celica looks good for a 2000.

This past summer I was driving home and I had the moonroof open, I heard some kids that had just gotten off the school bus say "That's the car I want!" while pointing.. made me feel lucky to have the celica

yep... ran into a kid and his mom at a gas station and as he was just staring at my car his mom said, "please excuse him, he really likes celicas..."

yeah, the celica is an eye catcher...and it doesnt hurt that there are so few of them around here. makes it stand out even more.

me and my bf went up to nashville back in the summer for a weekend and as we were packing the car at the hotel, two kids that were getting into the car next to us said my car looked like the batmobile

and one time when i was at the bank making a deposit in the drive through, one of the tellers came thru on the little speaker and was like 'WHat kind of car is that?!' and i told him and he was like 'imma have to get me one of those! its sweet!'

These people need to get out into the world more.

take a drive up the coast of oregon and stop by in a few small towns. EVERYONE will stare.

i was up in oregon a a few days before christmas, visiting a friend and her family. my car was parked out front and i noticed that everyone around there drives beaters and minivans and when ever someone drove by the house, they slowed down to look at my car. hehe

also, my friend's brother loves it. he wouldn't stop talking about my celica after i left. hehe

I've also noticed that little kids really like the Celica.

I also get a lot of praise from old people. I don't know why, it doesn't seem like the wild styling of the Celica would appeal to them, but old people generally like the car enough to comment about it.

When I went to pick up my brother from basketball practice not only did I get comments from his whole team but also the freakin security guard just chillin there. The best thing was that he was thinking about getting the Celi from before but there were other cars he was thinking about too, but after talking to me and checking it out, he said he would get the Celica over the other motor vehicles.

i personally love it when ur at a gas station or something and some old person will ask you how fast that race car goes

i'm from a really small town... there's only 4 celicas within probably 40 miles... and the other three are stock.. nobody even knows what they are... it's funny when people see mine... they're like "what kind of spaceship is that?!?... man i bet that thing goes fast" haha... i've gotten nothing but compliments since i've had it

the first compliments i got for my celica was from a couple of little kids also."nice car man" and "i love your car".

I love my Celica, when I first bought it, Everyone flipped because it's so much cooler than my last ride.

I've had tons of ladies wave and rave about my celica, it's a total chick magnet. Kids give me thumbs up, and all the honda kiddies wanna race me all the time.

My current girlfriend digs my car, The first time I took her for a ride, she commented that riding with me was the first time She was ever in a car and wasn't a nervous wreck, she says I'm probably the best driver she knows.

Nice celica + good driver = world class combo.

I'm surprised at how many people seem to think the Celica must be expensive. No one would bat an eye at a $25-30K sedan, or an even more expensive minivan, truck or SUV, but a lot of people see my $18K Celica, and they're like "Wow, moving up in the world, huh?"

it is a great thing for kids to love celicas. they have good taste. they are the ppl who play with the little figure cars n shits like that. they have the collections of em and they know wut looks good. do you see them playing with honmda civic figures? their usually ferraris and lambos, so they resemble celica to an exotic car mini ferrari

Check this out dawg...last summer I went to my sisters' house...I normally go there on weekends to chill & eat some home cooked meals but this time we went to the alley to play some alley b-ball...you know...anyways my nephew(now a freshie) had his boyz from da hood playin' & after a while we were in the celi playin' Tekken Tag Tournament & MK Deadly Alliance with the volume full blast!!!(my amps & speakers proved their worth) No bullshit...there must've been at least 25 kids taking turns on the games(winner gets driver seat-I was supervising) I don't have a body kit but those kids were sweating my ride for hours. I took the better players(with more wins) for short rides around the hood as a bonus throwing some heavy bass at them. Check this...the car was a little dirty so they washed it for me!!! I got nuthin' but love. Till this day my nephew Andrew still tells me that from all his uncles(he has like 7), I'm the coolest!!! That makes me feel great!!! Shorties know the deal. We roll mad for real. I'm out. X
