im looking around to see who has the VIS Invader hood and most people said MB Autosports but i dont see it on there. so i did a search on it and the people who put links to that page, when it pulled up it said something like product no longer available or something. for those of you who have bought the invader hood, where is the best place to buy it? i think it would go gr8 w/ my veilside kit.

it's not just a website, its also an actual shop in arizona (i beleive) and it is a very reputable company. (since its in arizona and you live here w/me in louisiana...you avoid paying taxes. but the shipping will make up for it )

now the hood comes with the carbon fiber raised hood scoop and the hood cowl right?

right, it comes with both. and the scoop closest to your windshield (the normal celica scoop position) is also removable.

damn .. i think you guys should shop around a little bit more. i'm picking mines up from walnut on saturday morning for $295 along with sparco pins for 28 i think. no shipping and tax since i'm paying cash. i'm getting the vis oem one.

Sure you can get the OEM a lot cheaper. We are talking about the Invader... I got sparco hood pins for $20...

the invader is the same but i'm just saying i'm getting the oem because i like it better

the invader is not the same as oem. oem carbon fiber hoods look like the stock celica hood, but are made of carbon fiber (obviously)

the invader hood has a raised hoodscoop, plus a hood vent (hence the name, invader)

the oem has a raised hood scoop also

give us a price on the vis invader hood (i.e. something we can see such as a link or ad). if it does indeed cost the same as the oem...then thats one heck of a sweet deal

but i doubt it, personally. if costs more to make the invader, so if you can get it for the same price..then they are either wholesaling or you are getting ripped on the oem (and i don't think your getting ripped)

yea he says its wholesale and the price for each is 295. his shop is called fastsination. its located in el monte.
pm me if you want the number although he'll probably won't give you the same price, it might be lower then $510. i will ask him tomorrow. he's one of my uncle's friend.
i won't get the hood installed for about another month but i'll post pictures of it when i store it in my room in wc.

Anybody found a cheaper place to get the VIS Invader yet? Over here at my local aero shop, it's $500.
