Has anyone turboed the gt yet if so what are the (HP) gains (1/4) mile times. Is it a lot of work to turbo the gt??? I'm thinking of getting a GT instead of the GTS if the GT is not to hard to turbo and if the (HP) gains are good enough. (O yea how much dose it cost to turbo the gt) Thanks for the info.
i haven't turboed a GT, but i purposely bought a GT instead of a GTS because you can get way more boost for a lot less money. with a GTS, you would have to do some engine work to lower its compression ratio so that it can handle any boost that's worthwhile. hope this helped...
west covina toyota [trdtoyota.com] claims that they will sell their turbo setup for the GT at about $3500. tho it has not yet been released, they claim up to 12psi of boost. sorry, i dn't have a 1/4 time for ya...

Well actually West Covina said TRD is in the process of making a TURBO for the GTS to work with the 11:1 compression. get the GTS and wait for the Turbo.( GOT BOOST)

yeah they did say that they would be making turbo for the GTS, but i dn't believe the GTS could handle any boost worth your time or money without lowering its compression ratio.
