Biggest problem of "No Name" Intakes It will not fit in most situations. And there is the chance of loosing of Hp by installing that Intake. But it's your money. P.S.Let us know if it's fit properly.

umm..must be crappy engineering if it fits both GT and GTS
the AEM GT and GTS intakes are different in the way the angles are piped. i should know, i was sent a GTS intake and tried to install it on my GT without knowing it was a GTS intake utnil i realized the elbow connector wouldn't fit. haha stupid me.
just a heads up..maybe the wording is screwed up or something, but if they are AEM imitations, then definately watch out because GT and GTS intakes are designed differently.
...and yes, im sure that many of us know that ebay has many knockoff parts that cost waaaay less than the real thing. but in paying for the brand name, we are also getting quality, reputation, and thorough R&D hours put into engineering the intake.
what did we all spend on our cars? 10G+s i am guessing. if you are willing to spend the 10+ grand on the car, what does an extra 200 dollars mean? if you want the best for your car that is. if you are happy with loading your car with cheap "performance" parts, be my guest.
although i know that the AEM knockoffs and real AEM intakes differ usually only by the type of filter, the fact that it is supposed to fit GT's and GTS's sounds fishy to me
just my .02 cents.

just my .02 cents. Yeah, those off brand CAI's on eBay are plain crap. You can tell from the pics that the tubes look like plastic, and I wouldn't be suprised if they were. Also, the majority of them seem to be straight, and not curve down to where the "cold air" actually is like the AEM brand. They seem to be more like ram air intakes. But in defense of the guy that started this thread (kinda sounded like he worked for eBay or something) , you can find cheap name brand intakes on eBay for a fraction of the price every once in a while. And some people even sell used ones that look new, that some people might be interested in. Just gotta make sure that it's the real thing and that the seller is legit.

That looks good. A knock-off can be easily spotted by its shitty composition and cheap price. Just look for brand names and request pics if there aren't any.

many offbrand intakes are not cnc machine welded (for smoother curves), which will affect performance. that said, you can buy authentic brand intakes from ebay for a lot cheaper than retail..just check the seller feedback and do your homework

I've known 3 people with the ebay intake...and one of their's cracked in 1/2 eBay intake as in someone sticking pvc pipe together and calling it an intake, or eBay intake as in AEM or Injen? If you buy brand names from eBay that are new, then you should be fine. If you buy knock-offs just to save money then you deserve what you get.

if you are running a stock setup, then your stock ecu settings are whats best for your car...it is already setup for maximum performance of your car. sure you can retune your ecu on a stock setup and make more horses..this isnt what i mean by 'maximum performance'. maximum performance refers to the overall power output ALONG with the longevity of your cars engine. whenever you want to increase power on your stock setup by retuning your ecu...you will do so at the cost of increasing wear on your engine (its unavoidable).
retuning your ecu is usually only done after installing aftermarket parts. because your stock ecu isn't set to these performance modifications..your ecu can be retuned for more power output and avoid the expense of extra wear.

I think the point has been made about ebay. Sometimes you can get a good deal, and sometimes you get screwed.
But ask yourselves this:
If ebay is so much cheaper, how is that possible? I think there are a few common reasons why things are cheaper on ebay:
1) It is a cheap knock-off (no guarantee of quality) 2) It is used (and possibly damaged and/or missing parts) 3) It is stolen
I'd rather not take my chances with any of those, but I think if you're willing to take the risk, sometimes you can get a good deal.
