What is the widest wheel I can shlep on the celica without getting spacers or something. I'm looking into some 18" wheels and of course want something with some width to it. Also, I hear that a 35 series tire matches well compared to stock, but roads suck in these parts, so I'm thinking mabye I should go for 40. Will the 40 fit with a 2" drop? I have gold line springs and KYB AGX shocks. Hope someone can answer my questions.

i think you are able to put 9inch wides in the front and 9.5s in the back w/out much of a problem. your gonna need some fender flares though to make it legal.

sounds good, i think 8" wide will do the trick for me. Ya think i can pull that off without flares?

You can take your car into the shop and have your fenders rolled for about 70$. That is the perfect thing to do. 18x8

yup, you can do it w/out flares. 8" would be more common sense anyway. unless you have bucketloads of torque, super wide wheels/tires aren't needed (celicas don't have bucketloads) thumbsup
