Haha, the supra and celica lines where joined for a time, but they've always had their differences, calling them one in the same is far from the truth. I would say they were both spawned from the original japanese sports car. The 2000GT.

I don't think our chassis is big enough to have a T-top. If we did have a T-top, it would be quite small. It would also jeopardize the structural integrity in the event of a roll over.

it's possible, but as mentioned it probably would be very small.

that said, i'd prefer a t-top over a convertible ANY day

Honda pulled off the fully removable roof in the Del Sol, so I'm sure Toyota could find a way to make it work with the Celi T-top if they wanted.

I love convertibles... when I can have the top down. Cloth tops are a pain and removable hardtops are way too big to store all the time. That's why I'm going for a SL500 when I become a millionaire.

Saw a concept pic of a Celi convertible, looks pretty gay.

hard top...nice...cloth top...not so much

i'm not a fan of convertibles. period.

It's a shame there's no pics of it with the top up. I bet it would be hella ugly then.

My first car is a convertible, they're fun on Sunday morning driving. Hell they're always fun except when it rains then it leaks.

Targa Tops leak too, my supra did... have to change the out the seals every so often.
