I am looking to buy a carbon fiber dash kit for my celica and I am wondering if anyone knows how hard it will be too install it myself and if it is possible because I really dont want to take it to a shop-1)because of labor costs and 2)because they will take their good old time like they did when putting on my bodykit. You could definitly install it your self. thumbsup

The dash kit is just a bunch of stick on peices. All you have to do is peel the back off, center the peice, and press down.

the have a 'sticker' dash kit of fake carbon fiber (more of an overly, rather than a real sticker)

but there is also a real carbon fiber dash made by ipt motorsports:

for more info, here's a link to a thread that should help:
https://celicahobby.com/ubbthrea...#Post1869768131 the info you are looking for is a little further down the thread.

for more info on the overlay (sticker) fake carbon fiber dash, here is a thread you may want to check out:

billy (vsgts14) has the overlay fake carbon fiber dash kit, you can send billy a pm for more questions

One thing you should deffinantly do before you put the kit on is use a rubbing alcohol on the pieces to remove any dirt grease or armor all. it'll feel dry to the touch. Then just slap it on, heh well make sure it lines up and all.

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.
