I really like reverse coowl hoods like the ones on the lotus elise, but all the ones on the celi just dont do it for me. They are all to slat ish or extreme. I was thinking about one similar to the elise and cobra but you would have to do something with the center indentation in our hood. I was trying to use photoshop but this comp keeps crashing while loadin it. I am thinking the single reverse cowl might need to be split into two one on each side of the center longitudinal channel but still make it that slice or smile-ish shape. Also like the cobra and elisemake it so that the the foreward part of thr cowl remains stock height but make the aft part about 1-3 inches in depth. Any oppinions, or expert photochoppers out there? If it comes out looking good i would buy an oem style fiberglass hood and change it myself. (dont have time or space to do a full mold) Carbon fibre would be cool but it looks shitty when the fibers are continous. I guess i could do a single layer over the glass one when i am done but thats kind of rice.

the reason the lotus can have such nice reverse cowl hoods, is that it has NO engine in front
was....5speed with i/h/e 15.41 @ 89.30mph 2.282 60'
is....04 srt4 stock 13.936 100.15mph 2.177 60'

Oh i realise that, but i still think there could be at least a 1 to 1.5 inch rev cowl.i am pretty sure there is some room under there. It would not be to the same extent, but it could still be hot. I wonder what that would do for any engine cooling or aero effects.

Its nice but its more square than i want. Same for the scoop. I want something less angular and more sweeping. Also I like the hood without the raised part.
