i have a APC tach does n e ne know where does the green wire go conected to and the small black and red wire it looks like it goes conected to something but i don't know what i don't mean the big red and black wire i mean i small ones i think that is for the light

The red wire needs to be connected to your cars' 12V power. Find one to tap into that supplies power when your ignition is turned on. The black wire needs to be grounded.
