Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Question About Two Way Alarm System

Does anyone out there with two way alarm system? I looking into about getting one but is it worth it? Or should I just go with good one way alarm system? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone have remote start on their manual transmission?
If so how about getting it done? I know it's illegal. How difficult is the set up?

i have the Compustar 2wfm (2-way)
my friend has 1wfm (1 way)

well...he sometimes are not sure if his doors are locked or unlocked.

I have the Viper Responder and I love it. It tells you if something set off the alarm if you are close enough and it tells you if the car is locked or not. Works really good.

how is the range on that viper responder?

i have the viper responder too. It works really good, I love it. Im pretty sure range wise that the remote would work if you are in a one mile radius from the car. Well that's what alarm claims. From my experience, it only works a mile a way if you can see the car or if it's not really hidden.
