I have heard that this shifter is amazing and is a little better compared to the TWM. I have a 2000 GTS. I have also heard that the B&M doesnt work well at all in the 2000's transmission. Is this true for all short shifters or just B&M?

Only reason it wouldn't work well is if you don't know how to shift well because of the narrow shift gates. The smaller the shifter, the harder it is to aim your shift.

Do a search.

I was considering getting a B&M, but I'm not the only one that drives my car, sometimes my mother will drive it. And I am worried that she will misshift or something like that.

i have an '00 gts with a b&m shortshifter.

it works just fine and imo it works better than the stock shifter. (the stock shifter is 'goosenecked' while the b&m's neck is straight all the way--so it's easier to choose gears without hitting the 'brick wall' caused by the narrow shift gates in the gts)

it's definately a mod i'd recommend, it also stopped my grinding when i shift my car into reverse (it grinded before--even when i double clutched) thumbsup
