okay i hooked up a voltmeter to my car. it worked for about ten minutes then it quit working. now i can't get it to read a charge on anything. i've tried the radio, rear washers, front washers, cig. lighter, and just about anything else you can think of. everything else is hooked up right as far as the back of the gauge goes. can anyone help me???
well it works now. the needle is sticking on the inside of the gauge. so it was working all along just not able to show up. which brings me to another question, is there any way i can adjust the inside? like take apart the gauge?
how is it stuck? if it's wedged in there, you can prob take it apart and sand down where it's wedged. if it is a bit sticky, then you should remove it w/ some adhesive remover. all in all...that is a really risky project...i say complain to the place you bought it from and get a new one. that's wacked.
well i can't really complain to the place where i bought them from, a friend of mine gave them to me...but i hooked them up to my radio so it's reading a charge all the time so no more sticking...haha
