ok, i got some rims rite, i told the guy to get me rims that fit my car (7th gen Celica). so i pick some up when he finally got some and i found out that they are a +48 offset. i'm thinking, huh, isn't stock +38. so i was like man, will this fit, he says yes. i'm like but it's a +10 offset. he was like i'm sure it fits, we tested it already. but knowing him, he don't know shit sometimes. he was comparing it to a wrx. so fellas, will a +48 off set work? and if it does is a it a good way or a bad way? because i think a +48 offset is way too far off the stock.

for the 7th gen celica..you should try and keep your rims between a +35mm offest and a +45mm offset.
in any case, +48mm offset really isn't that bad. it's not recommended but it won't hurt.

if the front wheels don't rub againts your fender when you turn the steering wheel all the way, you'll be find, but if you lower your car, the wheels are really going to be tucked in.
