Hey guys, I was wondering what the best kind of Intake would be for my 2k GTS?... and also have you heard of gettin hydrolock from the cold air Intake?

INJEN looks better then AEM
and if you want top end get INJEN and if you want low end get AEM thumbsup

get an Intake but know ur taking a risk of hydrolocking. now everyones gonna get in an argument that an engine will hydrolock only if submerge/easily submerge. you cant beat an aftermarket Intake noise though

but you have a GTS so it would be better to have a better top end because our cars werent ment for low end. Our top end kicks ass! So i would go with Injen! thumbsup im gonna purchase and injen soon grin

damn..just get the TPR..it's both CAI and SR..2 for the price of one..plus it suppose to beat AEM and INJen as for as hp goes anyway...wat more do you wnt??..

TPR CAIs seems to have the best gains. AEM CAIs are the most popular. Injen SRIs are good too.

I wouldn't hyrdrolock. Just get a cover to protect it from water. If it rains (Florida happywink)go with it. Puddles can get it wet too, but rarely. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about water. wink

if you dont mind the price, get TPR, if you do, get the Ebay AEM style one and do the mod that stops it from bogging all the time...
