Is IE in the dashboard? How/where do I find it? I want to tap into a ground near teh drivers left foot but can't locate it from teh groundpoint map.

There are a bunch of grounding points around the car. The ground point that you are refering to is a major grounding point, meaning that grounding wires are connected to that point, and other major grounding points throughout the car.

Just get a continuity tester to find a wire that is a ground, and tap into that. Also, test certain screws around the car.
