if your talking about for cracks that get the "white" wax build-up, try dish soap in a squirt bottle, and a SOFT bristled tooth brush, thats what i use
Dawn dishwashing soap does a good job...just removes the grime and wax off the car...doesn't hurt the paint. Although wax your car after you do use it because there's nothing protecting it anymore once you use dawn.
