sorry if it sounded like i knew how to do that but i really dont, i have a theory that sounds like it should work...i was thinking to chnage the lights in the back that light up the license plate, you would remove the 2 screws to the left and right of the top trunk right??? i really dont know i thought that bc i think thats how you remove the spoiler. if you have the answser please tell me! i want to change it to red.

well, brake lights are red and very close by, so I doubt they could say that someone could confuse it for a police car (thats why you cant use red or blue lights here, becuase they think someone would confuse your car with a police car) however, I could see cops feeling they can't read your license plate as easily when its lit up red

or what i was thinking/planning of putting two of this in place of the bulbs... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3844878948&category=56973esentially retrofittint them in.. actually i bought two of these from this seller only without the chrome part.. but haven't had a chance to test out how bright/effective it is at lighting up the plate..

yeah, i'd be concerned 'bout colored lights on the plate as well. i've once got a $35 ticket in mass for having non-white lights on the license plate. changed them the next day.
the hyper-white suggested in the ecelica install guide seems like the best option.

i changed my lisince plate lights to the hyper white bulbs after i thought they were over powering my head lights in my clear corners... but now im getting the metec lighting package, so everything up front will be hyper white/blue if you want to change your bulbs to led's, find them here... http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi?product=CARand match them to the sizing there>> the glove box light bulb size can be found here... https://celicahobby.com/tech/lights_external.html
