I am thinking about switching from conventional to synthetic oil but i heard it can cause leaks. I have a 2000 gts with 52,000. I do not know what the previous owner used and i had only had the car for 10,000 miles. Have any of you guys switched at this mileage or heard of anyone having leaks after switching?

never heard of anyone having leaks...many people on this site use synthetic without any problems...52,000 is no problem for switching to synthetic.

if you have more questions, do a search.
