I'm going to assume you mean air suspension?

air bags there was a truck in front of me while i was driving and all of the sudden his whole right side went down to the ground. i was like "o shit he just blew his shocks and struts" then like 2 mins later i realized he had bags because he finally lowered it all. pointless sorry but i decided to share. but airbags on a celica is just as stupid as the story i just wrote
i've been changing but you'll never see me now now i'm blaming you for everything

Hey Veilside_gt, Figured since I answered your first two questions on this site and you seemed to appreciate it, I would answer this one too. Before I tell you the cheapest place to get bags, let me try to talk you out of it first.
1. Bags suck. You will have nothing but trouble with them. Expensive trouble.
2. An air system is very heavy. Our car is slow enough as it is. Every pound you add to your car will make it that much slower.
3. Our cars are one of the best handling cars in the world. Professional test drivers at Car and Driver said the only car to handle better than the 7th gen Celica is a Porsche. And that's with stock suspension. Add a good set of coilovers or good shocks and springs and you will improve your handling even better. Carving up a mountain road with lots of sharp turns is one of the funnest things you can do.
4. If you say you don't care about speed and handling, trust me, you will change your mind soon. Bouncing your car up and down get's old fast.
5. If you say "I just want a show car and not a race car" than a cheap airbag suspension will hurt you at shows. The guy next to you with a good set of coilovers will get more points than you unless you have an expensive air system.
6. An air system takes up way too much room in your interior and it turns your car from a nice sporty car to a worthless lowrider tank.
Hope this helps. Think about it and then let me know if I have changed your mind. If I did not change your mind, then I will tell you a site that will sell you the cheapest hunk of crap air system you can buy.

Euroboygt, That wasn't a stupid story you told. It was a damn good point and something for people to think about if they are thinking about bagging their poor Celi. I have seen the same thing on a freeway once. He was pretty much screwed with a messed up kit he just spent thousand to have molded on.

nice, I just learned a lot about airbags. I knew they weren't for the performance-minded, but I didn't know all the negative stuff.
I get my kicks on EC.

I am baggin my celi right now.I know the celi is more handling minded but air ride is just what i need with the roads around here and trying to get into my garage.I am just sick of having to have my bumper painted again and again. But a lot of what everyone said is true.Dont get a cheap kit.Air runner i think has the best air ride kits, however they run around 5 grand. The kit i have i got a good deal on becuase i ordered it about 2 months ago which is not show season so they are trying to get rid of what they have in a sense and give you better deals. But if you want a show car and dont want to have to worry about potholes then air is the way to go.But just make sure you do it right.I have 1 air bag installed right now,the hoses arent hooked up to anything and the car hasnt dropped at all in 2 weeks.Simply put,DONT GET CHEAP AND TAKE THE TIME AND DO IT RIGHT

the reason i was thinking about airbags is my celi is so low that i ground out wherever i go, so this is the only solution for this problem

i think bags are awesome if your not stupid. i would say depending on how you drive and what you use your car for...is if you should get them or not. basically if you like cornering...dont get em. if you like to drive over 80 mph...dont get them. im not saying you cant...its just not advised. basically if you use your car solely for transportation and to look good. get it...all the horror stories your hear are because no one feels the need to gloat about not having problems with bags. just make sure if you do it you get it done from a reputable shop. ask questions about how many they have done and if anyone has had problems. see if they will warranty their work for an amount of time. bags are not for me, but good luck.
