Just hooked up a new Pioneer DVH-P5000MP DVD player head unit. Well It has a seperate sub-out, my old Aiwa deck (from my 5th gen) is a 99' model - one of the first mp3 players out. It just had regular outs, and I had my subs and everything in since 2001.
I got in a wreck in 2004, rear-ended.. My box flew back and caught on the RCA's. It ruined the solder joints in one of the RCA inputs, so both subs are now on the one channel that still works. Remember - everything was working FINE in my 5th gen.
I ran 4 gauge power from battery to hatch, grounded it perfect (sanded down to bare metal on all of the contact point). Ran RCA's on seperate side of car, along with remote wire from the deck. RCA's are plugged into Sub-Out.
plug the amp and everything in - power is on, subs are flexing, but theres NO sound. Can't tell the subs are on over stock speakers, but they are flexing like normal. Any hints on what this is? They worked fine in my other car. I confirmed on my deck that the sub-out IS turned ON. Im lost, along witheveryone else I know.

Low Pass - is selected on crossover switch.
I have also played with the gain and subwoofer level on the amp, to no avail.
The amp is NOT on protection either.. I've verified that.
