Celica Forums General Discussion General Weird thing going on with my car!

Ok, last week i fill up the fuel tank and when i started the car, the car was not reading that it had a full tank, instead it was reading all the little lines except one, the first one from the top. Is like you know is full but you don't see it. So i thought it was not a big deal.

Tonight i went again and fill the tank, and when i got in, shit! same thing again. What could be wrong??

I don't notice anything wrong in the car or any weird noise so i have not an idea what could it be.


Anyone knows why or what could it be??

try letting the fuel spill out, because you prolly didnt full it fully

it sounds like the sending unit inside the tank is f'ed up. Did this just start? How old is your car?

I make sure the tank was full, i could see the fuel nearly going out.

The car has 25k, i am so pissed off because i don't know what it is.

there's a recall on some celicas about some kind of problem i think...

if you only have 25k you should still have a warranty, so just take it to the dealership
