I run the parada spec II from yokohama and love them. They are alittle bit more the the Sumitomo but not much more.

I run the Falken ZIEX ZE 512's, great tire unless your on ice or heavy snow ( just not aggressive enough). Decent priced tire and the performance on dry and wet roads is excellent. They are however a little more noisier than I would like a tire to be. I'd still recommend em to anyone.

Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires thumbsup

The Nitto's are great in the rain because they have two grooves to repell water. And the Nittos are pretty cheap... www.tires.com [tires.com] has them for $119/shipped in 225/40R17.
